QUALITY CONTROL

Quality assemblies require that individual components of commensurate quality be obtained. Our Purchasing Department works together with Quality Control to ensure that quality parts are purchased at competitive prices. All parts are stored in secured facilities after receiving incoming inspection.

INSPECTION

After components are inserted and soldered, rigorous inspections are performed utilizing various optical aids. Many assemblies are manufactured to ISO 9000 Series guidelines.

IN-CIRCUIT TESTING

Advanced in-circuit testing enables thorough testing of empty PC boards as well as fully stuffed boards. Components are not only tested for functionality, but for appropriate tolerances. Quality statistics of circuit boards are recorded down to the component level.

ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING

Burn-in ovens are used to eliminate infant mortality failures. Environmental chambers can confirm that components can meet specific requirements. At AIA, the emphasis is on eliminating failures before they occur.

CUSTOM DESIGNED FUNCTIONAL TESTING

AIA works with you to develop functional testing to suit individual requirements.
